HERE, THERE, EVERYWHERE

Exactly!  If I was to describe a young woman I recognized and knew before in the parish.
I guess I was not the only one who perceived this.  Her choir buddy had the same impression.

Alice Lardizabal-Fernandez delivered the welcome address for guest speaker Maria Antonina Mendoza-Oblena during the Akbay Fundraising Dinner.

Worried because the speaker is a close friend and no stranger to the choir.  "...not because I didn't want to but because I didn't know how".

Who can introduce better?  "I cannot recall exactly when this speaker joined the choir.  Hindi kasi siya significant noon".

Who knows best her strength?  "Very distinct ang tunog niya sa limang dipang tao, kasi siya yung busina doon".  Or flaw?  "She really found it difficult to pronounce pararap... she cannot clearly roll her r's"

How friendship began for both and another choir member was not important.  It can't be remembered.  "We just hit it off well" must be an understatement for their in sync vibes and silent understanding.  "Tara! Kung saan man yon, di namin alam".

They know each other too well.  "...she would tell me and Nats about this guy na nakakainis, alam na namin.  Sabi ko uwian na, may nanalo na".

To prove the friendship  "Tunay kaming magkaibigan kasi lahat ng posting niya hindi ko napupuntahan".

Humorous as portrayed, this was not all to the introduction.  For all intents, from this friend's point of view, it was a sincere and proud appreciation of a person who achieved success, has distinct honor to her credit, yet nurtured the bond of friendship beyond career and marriage.
