Who are the officers of AKBAY?
Behind a successful choir are tireless people who work above and beyond to ensure the happiness and growth of the members. For AKBAY those people are the following:

Jazmin Sison (Overall Coordinator)
Jaz is on top of everything that has to do with the AKBAY choir and its operations including being on top of the Worship Committee and also being the Youth Group Leader.

Ray Lasam (Recruitment, Business, Music, and Formation Coordinator)
The man who started it all. He is the glue that brought us together. It is through his efforts then and now that AKBAY even exists at all.
In the beginning (many, many years ago) his primary role was musical director and formation coordinator of the choir. At the rebirth of the choir in 2016 his role has changed and he is now in charge of recruitment, business, music, and formation of the choir.

Claribel Tiu-Villarico (Finance Coordinator)
We trust her with the funds of the choir. But don't think that being the finance coordinator is simply hanging on to the funds. Oh no! She also tells us if we are overspending, if we need to replenish funds, and if contributions have come in from members.
Handling money is a big responsibility. And we, the officers of AKBAY, are glad that she accepted the responsibility.

Penny Angeles-Tan (Membership Coordinator)
She is in charge of tracking the membership of the choir. In addition, as part of the Music Committee she is in charge of digitizing all pieces and placing them in the music archive for members to use.
